SEPCHE-Human Resources Officers group
Dr. Barbara Collins was selected by the Human Resources Officers group of SEPCHE (Southeastern Consortium for Higher Education) to provide the keynote address at two identical ½ day programs at Cabrini College. The workshop was titled, ‘Recognizing and Valuing Differences,’ and the audience was the collective management team from the 8 SEPCHE member institutions. Our 65 participants enjoyed the program thoroughly and found Barbara’s presentation both informative and engaging. In post-program evaluations, attendees commented that they loved Barbara’s energy and enthusiasm, that they will view diversity in more positive ways, and that they will be more open-minded when talking to parents/and students. As the current SEPCHE-HROs chair, I can also attest to the fact that it was a pleasure developing and coordinating the program with Barbara. We hope to be able to employ her services again in the areas of managing change, leadership or diversity.
